When is the exhibition open?

Do I need to book a ticket?

No, everyone is welcome and there is no need to book in advance.

Do you offer workshops?

Yes, we'll be running three 'Revenants' collage based workshops:

Saturday 26th October  11.00 - 12.15

'Make a Spooky 'zine for Halloween!' 

This ‘zine in a hurry’ workshop is perfect for budding artists aged 6 - 12 years and their parents/carers. Use collage, drawing and photocopying to create your own mini comic full of creepiness and ghostly goings on, just in time for Halloween! All materials will be provided. Please bring your own scissors. 

Saturday 26th October  14.00 - 16.00

'Long Live Dada! Free Your Mind. Free Your Writing.'

Learn about the ground-breaking 'cut and paste' techniques developed by artists from the DADA movement and create your own little book of writing prompts. This fun and hands-on session is open to writers of all abilities and styles. All materials will be provided. Please bring your own scissors. 

Sunday 27th October  14.00 - 16.00

'If You Have Ghosts, You Have Everything.' 

Take a generous helping of images, found poetry and textual intervention to create a ghost story of your own - the perfect run-up to All Hallows Eve! All materials provided. Please bring your own scissors.

About Sasha

Sasha Saben Callaghan is a visual artist and spoken word performer, living in Edinburgh. She was a winner of the 2016 ‘A Public Space’ International Emerging Writer Fellowship, the 2019 national Pen to Print Awards and the 2022 Stephen Palmer Travel Bursary. Her illustrations have featured in a wide range of journals, magazines, and exhibitions, including Shape Open 2020, IAN Australia 2021, Plus Tate 2022 and Fife Contemporary 2023. Sasha’s lived experience of disability and impairment is a major influence on her work.
